The International Water Association (IWA) is the global network of 10,000 water professionals spanning the continuum between research and practice and covering all facets of the water cycle.

  • IWA Drinking Water Safety Award Scheme- Submit your award application by 31 of May 2012
    The IWA Drinking Water Safety Award recognises excellence in the management of drinking water quality. The award is aimed at service providers in low and middle income countries who have made demonstrable progress in improving the quality of water provided to urban or peri-urban areas.
  • The Muelheim Water Award
    Applications concerning “Progress in Water Supply and Sanitation” for The Muelheim Water Award can be submitted from 1st January 2012. The application period will close on 29 February 2012. Visit www.muelheim-water-award.com for full info.
  • 2012 Asset Management Performance Improvement Project
    This project continues the partnership between IWA and WSAA for managing a rolling program of performance improvement projects for asset management, civil maintenance, mechanical & electrical maintenance and customer services and is open to any water utility from around the world who wishes to share, learn, improve and compare the way they manage their assets.
  • Water and adaption: an introduction for local decision makers
