Looking for sustainable solutions for urban water management under storm weather conditions is relevant only if it takes into account appropriate spatial scales and all stakeholders to be involved. In addition, the future urban stormwater management will have to strongly consider the preservation of natural ecosystems, and of human health, the context of climate change and sustainable development. This issue covers a broader field than just drainage and drainage professionals.
One of the special features of the Novatech conferences is the fact that they allow scientists, decision makers and technicians, from both France and all over the world, to learn about the most recent innovations and to share experiences with and to meet the leading international specialists.
