Sector support

The Young Water Professionals Programme is committed to engage with the water sector to support work related activities which recognised excellence in providing professional development and supporting collaborative efforts in recruiting high calibre Young Water Professionals.

This engagement takes place through:

• The Professional Development Award, which recognises companies in the water sector that are making a significant contribution to the professional development of young employees.
• Career Fairs that will be organised at IWA events such as the World Water Congress and the International Young Water Professionals Conference.
• Water Career Booklet, which will be distributed to university career advice centres.
• External Relations by developing relationships with organisations, in the water sector, to provide mutually beneficial support to archive common goals.
