The Young Water Professionals programme aims to put you in touch with other water professionals that are in the same situation that you are - finishing studies or in the early years of your career.
The Young Water Professional Programme is committed to provide national and international networking opportunities to its members. This section of the website lists IWA events in where Young Water Professionals come together to share their experiences.

The conference is hosted every two years to provide young professionals in water and wastewater science, engineering and management with a forum to discuss current and future water management concerns. It also aims to expose young professionals with backgrounds from social science to those in the technologies to the multi-disciplinary nature of water research, thus integrating regulatory and environmental quality issues.
These conferences are hosted annually or biennially for students or professionals working in a particular country. The Conference theme is unrestricted, covering all aspects of the Water Cycle. If you are interested in organising a national Young Water Professionals Conference, please contact Adrian Puigarnau.
Having identified the potential of the workshops to help the Young Water Professionals to develop their career, the Young Water Professional Programme has committed to organise, as a part of the international IWA events, workshops to cover issues related to career opportunities, increasing the participation of the Young Water Professionals in IWA’s activities and increasing the involvement of the Young Water Professionals in specific regional issues.

"Take actively part in IWA specialized group workshops, spezialized conferences, task groups. I gained tremendously from involving myself into such events, get to know colleagues from around the world, learn about their personality and interests, and what they are up to at the very moment."
