First Announcement
The international water forum Ecwatech-2010 will take place in June, 2010. This is the greatest event in the Eastern Europe for the water sector specialists. Within the framework of the Ecwatech congress the specialists and scientists from various countries will discuss the most topical challenges in the sphere of water supply and wastewater disposal; apart from that, an exhibition of wastewater treatment equipment and advanced technologies will be organized simultaneously. And now the Young Water Professionals Program of International Water Association give the opportunity for the young scientists and specialists to take part in this major water forum of Russia within the framework of the workshop where the modernization of wastewater treatment facilities is planned to be discussed.
The meeting of the water sector young professionals from CIS countries at Ecwatech will be undoubtedly of great importance both for young specialists and experienced professionals of the water industry. Having visited the exhibition, the young people will be able to get a lot of new information directly from manufacturers. At the same time, for the water companies participating in Ecwatech, this workshop will give a nice opportunity to recruit the most active and skilled young specialists.
The topicality of the workshop increases in connection with the fact that the Government of the Russian Federation has adopted the Water Strategy for the period till 2020 aimed at identifying the new trends in improving the management systems in the sphere of the utilization and protection of water bodies and the modernization of the water economy complex of the Russian Federation. Thus in the near future the specialists will have to tackle the problem of choosing some new technologies for the modernization of treatment facilities, this choice being correct only in case the specialists rely on international experience and cooperation.
Although there is not registration fee to participate in the workshop if you register before the 1 April 2010, there are limited spaces so all YWPs who are interested to attend to the workshop should contact Maryna Tserashchuk or Gogina Elena.
