Utility Learders Forum India

4 February 2010
Delhi, India

Organised in conjunction with Indian Water Works Association and co-located at the Aquatech Exhibition this utility leaders forum will be a unique opportunity for the water industry
Implementing change to improve utility performance will be essential in dealing with existing and future challenges in the Indian water industry. Utilities are increasingly required to operate more efficiently, meet higher regulatory standards and reduce expenditure. These challenges come together with increasing population growth, increasing demand for service provision, growing social expectations, rising costs and the uncertainty of climate change. Utilities will be forced to change in order to meet these challenges. Leadership is an essential component in implementing change and can provide inspiration in achieving tangible results and outcomes.

This workshop will showcase leadership examples from utilities throughout the world and India as they have moved to address and resolve major issues.

Themes covered will include:

  • Leadership in reducing Non-Revenue Water: doing more with less
  • Strategies for rapid improvements – water operator partnerships
  • Improved operations: expanding sanitation

This Utilities Leaders Forum is an invitation only event for CEOs and Managing Directors with presentations from your peers that you should not miss. For more details please contact emma.rose@iwahq.org.
