The X Latin American Workshop and Symposium on Anaerobic Digestion (DAAL) will be held in the historical city of Ouro Preto, Minas Gerais, from 23rd to 27th October. This meeting, which congregates researchers working on AD in Brazil and abroad, will keep its traditional format with workshops and seminars. The workshops discuss themes of interest, which will be debated by specialists in 'round-tables', programmed to address the state-of-the-art of anaerobic digestion processes, emphasizing the reality of Latin American countries. In the seminars it will be presented the papers selected for both oral and poster sessions. In addition, some lectures and speeches will be given by renowned AD specialists.
