This conference aims to bring together a range of stakeholders - water suppliers, regulators, catchment
authorities, public health scientists - to discuss regional progress on Water Safety Plan (WSP) implementation
in the Middle East and North African (MENA) region. The confernece will build on the principles established
in the 'Statement of Amman' and aim to stimulate regionwide implementaiton of WSPs.
The conference will cover all aspects of WSPs, encapsulating the catchment-to-consumer approach and address technical, regulatory and financial aspects of WSP implementation. Presentations given at the conference will aim to provide practical guidance based on international and regional experiences of developing and implementing WSPs.
